“It was an end of the summer trip for the two of us a last-minute getaway. We normally camp in our tent, but with the weather being so unpredictable, we decided to rent a cabin this time, and it gave us the benefit of both worlds a little bit of rustic and a little bit of home away from home. Even with the hiccup upon check-in, the owners of the property were always there when we have questions and to answer any thing we needed they were very easy to get a hold of very pleasant Aunt very……

“We had a wonderful experience because of the staff at this holiday and location. Jessica at the check-in desk was very hospitable from the very beginning and very warm and welcoming. Gus, who was managing the breakfast buffet, went above and beyond from any other staff member at a hotel breakfast we have ever met before. He checked on all of the customers and made sure that everything was incredibly clean and well cared for.”

“The location was great. We could be hiking at Hocking Hills in 15 minutes or visiting one of the nearby towns in the same amount of time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable; great mattresses. Our room was very humid (I think they recently shampooed the carpeting, and that was making the room damp). Breakfast was okay: better than a continental breakfast, but it could be better (bread pudding was an odd offering). The pool was quite small, but the water temperature……

“My stay was for a smoker room and they put me in a non smoking room. So right away I was not impressed. Still charging me a smoker room rate, $100 more!!! My stay was from Friday to Monday Upon checkout they tried to charge me more for the day of checkout Monday”

“It’s your typical “right off the highway, older” hotel. Not at all fancy, and definitely could use an update, but for a one night stay as we were passing through the area, it was a clean, safe, place to rest our heads.”

“Elevator and guest hallways smelled of something rotting or stale. Room was damp and stains all over the ceiling. For what I had paid for the room, I could have easily found a better location. Disappointing.”
