This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Upon check in, there was no place to park. The staff member told me that there were going to be people leaving soon. We go up to the room, my son jumps in the shower. He gets out and there's no towels. Call downstairs. They tell me it'll be a wait for towels and we would be put on a list. EXCUSE ME???? The lady was very nice and I explained that my son was already in the shower. She ran up 2 towels. I looked outside and there is an entire party set up in the back parking area. It's 10pm and I have young kids who have to be up early for sports. The music is loud, they are riding around with loud music as well, slamming doors, yelling and shouting. Every time they fall asleep, someone knocks on our door and runs away. Seeing I had young kids with me, they should have informed me that this was going on. I would have accepted a refund and went literally anywhere else. I had to park my vehicle in a spot that it may get hit and the parking lot smells like weed. Again, 3 small kids. When I tried to leave they said I would have to pay 50% of the room because my son took a shower.

Overall, I would give this property one star, and that is only because the environment appeared somewhat clean at first glance. I reserved and checked in ahead of time, but the pictures online did not accurately represent what the property actually looked like. When I arrived, there were wet floor signs placed throughout the entire property, and they appeared to be left there constantly and never removed. There were also people roaming around both the front and back areas of the property, which made the environment feel uncomfortable. Another concern was that there was only one entrance and one exit, and several areas were padlocked, which felt unusual and restrictive. When I entered the room that was initially assigned to me (Room 118), I immediately saw a large cockroach on the floor as soon as I walked in. The room also had a strong unpleasant odor, and the mop water smell was very noticeable and off-putting. Because of the overall condition and how uncomfortable I felt, I checked out the very next morning even though I had originally booked a three-day stay. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property.

The whole place reeked of a certain plant based material. The staff was complacent about it, and there was super loud music being played outside. People laying on the couches in the foyer drinking. It was not suitable for our kids there with us.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable except for the lack of hot water. There was no hot water during our entire stay. At most the water was lukewarm but would quickly turn cold. The elevators were dirty. The view outside our window was horrible. The adjacent properties were junkyards/trash yards. We did not feel safe outside after dark.

Staff support was lacking. No towels or washcloths available. Room wasn’t clean and the overall hotel was filthy. Molded wet carpet in the hallways and the room floors weren’t clean along with the bathroom. Provided me with a room that we couldn’t open the door because the door was broken. Changed rooms and the extra lock for the door was broke as well. Spoke with GM of hotel and he wasn’t any help and had an attitude when addressing the problems with him. Staff all complained about the GM when addressing him asking him for things he didn’t respond or would say he’s working on it. Broken glass in parking lot from busted car Windows that had been broken into. Overall terrible experience! I would not stay there or Refer anyone there. This was the work Marriott ever!!

Poor rooms,was woken up at 4 am by someone screaming for hours in a room across from ours then we go outside and the person is laying on the floor in the parking lot. Only one elevator worked took forever to get and down. My friend got a room there as well booked it ahead of time and took them 4 hours to get her room first room they gave her was dirty. When asked for extra towels they didn’t have any.

I wanted to share feedback about my recent stay because my experience was very disappointing. The first two nights were extremely uncomfortable because there were no rags or towels available, which made basic hygiene difficult. In addition, there was no hot water during my entire stay. This made the stay very inconvenient and did not meet reasonable expectations for a hotel. I’m disappointed because I expected basic amenities and comfort, and unfortunately that was not the case. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues so future guests do not have the same experience. I would also appreciate hearing how you plan to resolve this situation.

The staff were very supportive during the issues however, the property was in poor condition and they decided to host for Mardi Gras at premium pricing. I was promised half of the total as a refund but was only given a refund for one night.
