If you want to stay in the quarters, this Inn is in a great location. No issues with late night revelers, but walking distance to all places of interest in the quarters...Bourbon St, Cafe Dumond, French Market/Mississippi River walk to the Mall and even Frenchman St.

This was a good property to stay at. We had a few hiccups but the staff was very responsive and attentive. I would stay again. Check in and check out was very easy.

We booked a deluxe king and given a standard queen - micro cruise ship size. When I called to let the Inn know that they gave us the wrong room, they insisted that Expedia booked a standard queen room. Expedia insists this is not the case but are unable to provide us with a refund - bad all away around. Additionally, the toilet was broken and 'ran' all night. Beware and find an alternative.

If staying on second floor, steps are slim, the hallway is also a tight space. My husband saw two large rats in the common area. Digital keys don't work to get into property.

The price and location are a plus. I liked the historic feel. The main problem was the property access which is done with an electronic key. I had difficulty obtaining the "key" and then once obtained it didn't work well. The street access door wasn't secure for most of my stay. It took several attempts to open my room more than once. The air conditioning system was substandard. The bathroom door didn't close. It wouldn't take much to make this a really good property. I won't be staying again.

My wife and I arrived a few hours before checking in, and the staff was kind enough to let us check in early. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything of interest in the French Quarter within walking distance. The AC unit worked great turning our room into a refrigerator, and that was much appreciated because the outside temperature was sweltering. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with our stay.

The property does not have any staff on sight, so upon check in you have to drive or walk multiple blocks to get to a staff member for help. The second floor is up 2 very sketchy sets of stairs, that if carrying luggage, beware. We found a total of 3 dead cockroaches in our room during our stay and on the last day a living little lizard. Our room did not have any cold water in the shower, so in the NOLA heat, only way to rinse off the sweat was rather hot water. The good: beds comfortable, location is prime for walking all over the French quarter, we parked right out front the whole weekend, property was pretty quiet especially at night and the value of booking in the FQ was not terrible.
