Always hard for us as a family of 5 to find reasonably priced accommodation and separate bedrooms. 299 on Devon West was a perfect fit for us, separate bedroom for our 3 kids, easy parking and access to room (ground level) and poolside room. Really happy with our stay at short notice.

This was a great option for our overnight stay. We were able to have a family of five all fit comfortably. Added bonus of having the pool right out our door to let the kids get some energy out before we checked out and started the drive home.

Good location, very comfortable beds and lots of space. Very tired condition with huge, old cobwebs in multiple places. Very easy walk to town centre and sea front.

With a concert in town, New Plymouth was boooked out - but I was glad to have a room at 299! Was given a warm welcome and slept well. The property is older but perfectly comfortable. Walkable into the centre of town and the coastal walkway. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for my needs - great coffee shop just along the road. Room was tidy, clean and comfortable, if a little dated. Reception was very welcoming and helpful when I checked in. Recommended if you are looking for something in this area of town and dont need the facilities of a much more expensive hotel

Great room for three of us. Plenty of space and facilities in kitchen e.g. two electric elements, microwave, toaster, electric jug, good sized fridge, pot, frypan, jug. Large bathroom with decent shower. Decor bit dated but well maintained and very clean. Small outdoor area for each unit as well as room to picnic near pool. 10 minute walk to CBD, very well priced and tasty Thai takeaways 5minute walk. Good cafe three doors away.
