「Do not attempt to stay here. At the time we booked the pictures were not up to date. The pool is permanently closed. The interior is moist due to insufficient cooling/de-humidification. The room was left with no air while unoccupied and was 78F and absolutetly dripping with contained humidity and the strong smell of mold. It had lights that were failing and blinked constantly. 「I arrived and the room we were assigned was not up to par did not smell clean furniture was in very poor condition toilet was leaking. This hotel needs a whole renovation you are charging premium prices and your hotel does not meet the standards! Pictures are deceiving, They were able to accommodate us to another room that was in better shape. I did give hotel staff 5 stars for taking care of us. Hotel is not worth the money we paid unfortunately.」

「I was traveling in Texas to go to my uncle's memorial and my aunt made my mom reservations at the same hotel I was staying at. That was okay, but my mother arrived at the hotel before me, made with completely different reservations under different names and upon her request, the receptionist changed my room to be on the same floor as hers WITHOUT calling me to ask me if that was okay or if I even knew the person making the request. 「It was clean, bed was comfortable, tv was nice, shower was fine. Room was dated, very close to rail road tracks and RR crossing. Trains seemed to come about every 45 minutes and honk their loud train horns. Very close to Starbucks!!(walking distance) no coffee in room.」

「At the time of check in, we asked for the late checkout at 1pm for which staff at reception agreed . Our access to the room was revoked before 1pm. When we check again at the reception, she charged us 22$ for late checkout. Terrible experience.」

「Spacious and clean room」

「We (3 of us) found the Carriage House suite to be very enjoyable and met our needs. Having two sleeping spaces and two bathrooms was a perfect situation for us. The bathrooms were clean and generally updated but the drainage in the main bathroom was quite loud. The main house and breakfast were lovely. 「I know there is remodeling going on, but this place was subpar. Leaving doors open for workers caused my room to be humid. No door handles on doors for basic passage through was tough.」

「My room needed serious deep cleaning. The walls throughout were soiled, the lamps were soiled, and the bathroom floors had long hairs everywhere. Although the staff was pleasant, I wouldn’t stay here again. I needed a room last minute and this had to suffice but I would not recommend.」
