The room itself was nice enough, all night there was people banging doors, playing loud music, groups talking loudly, cars running outside, people coming and going until 6am!! Maybe this was unusual but it was incredibly frustrating. Staff were polite but not friendly, just going through the motions, the available parking was first come first serve so unless you're early you risk not getting a space. Thermostat was messed up, it was either extremely hot or freezing. In 40 years of traveling it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had and I was exhausted from the lack of sleep the following day.

IMPORTANT !! Anyone reading the reviews, read the worst ones and you will get an accurate description of what you can expect. All those good reviews have to be planted by ownership. No other explanation. I paid in advance for 2 nights. The hotel is in a run down section of the Bronx. The only person working was behind 1 inch Plexiglas partition. That security alone should tell you enough about the neighborhood its in. The lobby smelled like weed. Instead of walking out right away, I decided to check out the room hoping for the best. Nope. The hallways, smell of weed, the bedrooms smell of weed. The type of people walking in and out, made you think of those movies when someone rents a room for only an hour. Expedia's site advertises free off street parking. They don't tell you there are only 8 parking spots available for the, 70 plus, rooms. I booked a King bed but received a queen. The mattress was cheap foam, not temper-pedic style. Cheap foam. The TV had something smeared on the screen and their was hair on the bathroom sink. This hotel should be removed from Expedia's site. And, any other site this hotel gets promoted on. Bottom line, we left and went to stay at a Holiday Inn Express, knowing I was probably going to lose my advance payment $400 for 2 nights. 2 days later Expedia notified us the hotel will not be refunding anything. EXPEDIA - take this hotel off your site, so no one else gets duped.

Room was clean and very comfortable.The staff at the front desk was courteous and helpful whenever there were any issues. The one problem I had was that there could be a small area where light snacks especially breakfast can be prepared on the compound.

I was extremely surprised by how comfortable clean and chill this place was other than the fact that the microwave is downstairs that’s OK. The ice machine is downstairs. That’s OK. There will be a refrigerator in your room and the rooms are clean and up-to-date. I love that I would totally stay here again.

The room was spotless the second visit i went.This time there was a remote. People need to stop stealing remotes thats why extra fees added.its for visitors entertainment.collect them id. Staff is wonderful.just need coffee cups @the front.check the toilets after cleaning. Urine was in it.I will return again. Good for a new hotel.near restaurant and transportations.Hopefully a vending machine sson.it will make money for the hotel

The entire building smelled great and was very clean, which was impressive considering all the snow outside and in the parking lot. Even the stairwells were spotless. The room was perfect for the few hours of rest I needed between shifts, and both the room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. However, when I lowered the temperature because the heat fan was running on high, the room became extremely cold—despite only lowering it from 85 to 75 degrees. I quickly understood why it had been set so high when I arrived. Also worth noting: the parking lot still had a significant amount of snow from Sunday through Thursday morning.
