Modern Brownstone, Steps to Subway

Modern, entire duplex apartment in historic brownstone also available weekly. Close to all services and 15-min subway to Manhattan.
The space
Newly renovated, fully furnished duplex in brownstone.
Ground floor with garden, wood paneled den/bedroom with bunk beds, fire place, office and kitchen with professional stove and dishwasher. Air conditioning on both floors, bathroom with heated floors, clawfoot tub and double sinks.

Backyard garden off kitchen with marble table, umbrella, gas bbq. Second floor with large parlour/office and master bedroom both with fireplace and 14ft ceilings. Flatscreen television, cable, wifi and land line telephone/fax. Decor is minimal and modern.

Historic details and hardwood floors throughout. Laundry in basement or laundromat on same street. Tree lined, historic block close to all services (French creperie, cafes, grocery, banks etc).

Steps from A/C train (Nostrand(express) or Franklin stop), CitiBike (Brooklyn/Manhattan bike share program) docking station and Long Island Rail Road. From Nostrand station the subway ride to Manhattan is 15min with no transfers required. On-street parking is available.

Nearby attractions include: Barclays Center, BAM, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Children's Museum, Fort Greene Park, Prospect Park.

We have two small children and can arrange for toys, bike, playpen, stroller and babysitter referrals to be available upon request.

The house is on a quaint block, where many Hollywood films have been shot. We know all our neighbors and the area is very safe.

$200 per night some flexibility of exact dates. Non-smokers ONLY.
Guest access
There is a backyard for use. The rental is the bottom two floors of the house. The upper 2 floors are separate units and are not accessible.

Living like a local

We enjoyed staying in an iconic brownstone and it was nice having 2 floors and a private patio area. There was plenty of space to spread out, although in the city much of the time. The subway is just around the corner. House was fully stocked with anything you would need.
