Great centralized location that’s accessible to the metro subway. Also close to all the Broadway theaters. Just a short walk from Time Square and all the major city attractions. Great, clean room with renovated space. Enjoyed the surprise balcony!

It’s a nice spot for walking around the tourist areas in nyc. But it’s a bit dated, in comparison to the newer hotels

Had a great stay staff was amazing. Right down the street from anything you want to do. Perfect location if you have a lot on your vacation itinerary. Walking distance from Central Park and Time Square. Lots of theaters near by, great places to eat. Sunny at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and professional, creating a great experience from the moment I walk through the door. Her positive attitudes, and genuine customer service made a lasting impression. I will absolutely be returning my business here.

The staff was friendly and checkout was fairly easy. However, this hotel needs a renovation desperately. There were holes in the hallway and the rooms felt damp.

The hotel is a bit older and and dated however, the beds are amazing and the linens and sheets are exceptional. They have really soft pillows and the cleaning staff is amazing. I stayed there for 20 nights every day. My bed was made, and it was just pristine. I would stay here again. It’s in a great location.

I was skeptical after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised with how great our stay was at the Gallivant! Perfect location, everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, front staff made check in and check out a breeze and the AC was cold! As little time as you spend in the hotel room while in the city, the Gallivant was exactly what we needed! Only con is only one small elevator but other than that, the Gallivant is a great option!

Not aware of the amenities as I didn’t get a chance to use them however, my stay was surprisingly comfortable. Housekeeping staff was extremely pleasant and helpful front desk could be a bit more pleasant however full information provided. Clean, absolutely spotless hotel and central. Overall excellent value for money given the location!!!! See you again soon

This was a pleasant place to stay. We had a good experience there with a clean room and friendly staff. My 2 minor issues were a luke-warm shower one of the days and 1 of the 3 elevators that was a little “quirky” like not wanting to close the door for 1-2 minutes. Other than those things it was a good place to stay in midtown.

The room was very well kept. The drain in the shower was not draining the first day, we went to the front desk and it was fixed by the time we got back from walking the city. There were drain flies in the shower, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The cleaning staff was very considerate. The room was cleaned daily. Overall a great stay.
