The Pearl is located within easy walking distance to theaters, dining etc. The front desk staff are great! Check-in was very easy and we were upgraded. We really didn't have the full breakfast, my husband brought coffee and croissants and hard boiled eggs to our room, he said there were other options like pastries. Elevators are super fast, if you know NYC hotels you know that's a huge plus! Our room was very clean. L'Occitane amenities come in the form of dispensers which is fine, we bring our own toiletries and appreciate the extras. Water pressure wasn't the best but it was fine. Room was quiet which was much appreciated. Wine in the lobby was nice after walking all day. Overall a very nice stay, we would stay here again.

Not a newer property but blown away by the staff (the best I have visited in a while. The property upkeep was amazing! I cannot fully express the friendliness/proficiency and the desire to be of service, even including the breakfast attendant (continental) but just amazing! The location is brilliant for a first time visitor to New York on a short (3 or 4 days) holiday. The property is nice, well maintained and clean with excellent staff. Breakfast, which was included in our package, is the same and could do with some improvement in terms of providing some variety. We had a couple of security issues with the hotel staff knocking on our door enquiring about complaints which we never made. The second time was much worse because it was at night, and a burly man opened our door after rapidly knocking at the door, not giving me enough time to reach the door. We've already brought this matter to the attention of the hotel staff.

I had a fantastic stay here. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left, the staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. I arrived a little early and was given early check-in and a room upgrade. The room was beautiful! Very clean, elegant, and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in the Times Square Area.

Lot of activity going on in the street and construction in the area. It was also UNGA week so lots of security traffic. Congestion (more then usual) to be expected I guess.
