I feel everything was as close to par with a 5 rating and would call it at 4.9 Star rated. One could not miss staying at this establishment. Really is as close to 5 Stars as imaginable. Clean room, wonderful breakfast, excellent parking, attentive Staff.

If I could give this place a -5 I would. We had two rooms as we were a group of 7. Absolutely no towels for either room even after asking for them countless times. We were told they didn’t have any.. one of our rooms didn’t have a working A/C for the first two days finally was fixed for the last night.

⸻ I had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience at Sparkle Hotel Rahway. The first room I was assigned was clearly not cleaned—there was a blood stain on the toilet, what appeared to be pubic hair in the sink, and the beds did not look freshly made. I immediately reported this to the front desk and was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was just as bad. The microwave was covered in fingerprints, the sink had visible dirt, and there was spilled juice on the countertop. On top of that, the room smelled strongly of smoke, which made it even more uncomfortable. When I brought these issues up again, I was told no cleaning staff was available at the time, and no manager was on-site to issue a refund. As a result, I was left sitting in the lobby trying to figure out a solution because I refused to stay in either unsanitary room. This level of cleanliness and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. Guests should not have to deal with these conditions or be left without immediate support. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.

I requested more towels and toilet paper several times, it was never brought to me. My ac waa not working and it was uncomfortably warm, I had to request 4 times before someone came to check it, it was fixed but stopped working again during the evening. In the morning, I called again to request someone come look. No one came. I went downstairs to the desk, complained that no one had ever brought the items, manager (Rocky), stated that items aren't brought to the room, that I would have had to come down to request them. I stated that was not specified during check in. He had a terrible attitude, I asked for a partial refund due to being the majority of my stay. Rocky said, no, contact Expedia. I commented on his poor attitude and stated I'd never recommended this hotel to anyone. He stated "good, we don't want people like you staying here anyway". Breakfast only consisted of yogurt and bagels, should be advertised perhaps as continental breakfast. I would like a refund.

Our room was still dirty what bothered me is there look like poop on my sons bed asked them to give me clean sheets so I chocks change them never gave them to me so didn’t use the second bed pool had nasty white stuff floating in the pool when we got the the front desk man gave me a hard time but he turned out to not be so bad after I explained he was been rude an he did apologize. Breakfast was not to bad never came to grab our trash so just sat there but over all u get what u pay for

Great room! Staff was very friendly and helpful!! VERY disappointed in the breakfast... Far worse than any other Hilton I've stayed at.., no hot food. Only hard boiled eggs. I'm used to little omelets, sausage or bacon at other hiltons. And even cheaper motels had make your own waffles or pancakes. They had bagels and muffins but they were on the stale side. At least there was a toaster. There were fresh oranges and apples but no bananas. A yogurt and cereal were offered... The first morning I came down at 8:30 and the coffee was gone and I couldn't find the salt or pepper for the hard boil eggs. The second morning the eggs were definitely what was left from the day before and MUCH harder to peel. I would DEFINITELY stay here again though because it was SO easy to drive to the Staten Island Ferry (which is FREE!) and take the subway to anywhere in the city. $3 subway fare is a real bargain! Definitely worth staying at, just skip the breakfast and eat at one of the great Jersey dinners.
