"Great cabin on the lake! What we liked: clean, comfortable furniture, large kitchen table plus extra seating on deck, plenty of space inside and outside, plenty of towels, dishes, & silverware, kayaks & paddle boat, fire pit, hot tub, nice lake view, short drive to town if you need anything. Host was friendly and responsive."

"We had a wonderful stay at Brooks Beach House! It was a great home base for exploring Newaygo and nearby towns while still being a quiet, peaceful place to come back to and relax. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with beautiful views that made the stay even more special.We really appreciated all the extra amenities and especially loved having several coffee brewing options to choose from each morning. It was those little touches that made our stay even more enjoyable.The host was great to work with and communicated everything clearly from start to finish. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Newaygo area, and we’d happily stay here again!"

"I have stayed in hotels and vacation rentals all over the country, both with my family and on my own, and the Muskegon River Inn is easily one of the coolest, most unique places I've ever experienced. The Inn has an incredible blend of historic charm and modern design that makes it feel unlike anywhere else. It's right in the heart of downtown Newaygo, so everything is within walking distance. Grab an amazing coffee next door at Heavenflow Coffee Co., enjoy great food nearby, or walk across the street for a game of pool. It has everything you need for a fun, relaxing getaway without ever having to get back in your car. Heavenflow Coffee Co. Muskegon River Inn What surprised me most was how much I fell in love with Newaygo itself. It's a small Michigan town with an amazing vibe, surrounded by rivers, outdoor adventure, and close enough to the Lake Michigan shoreline and dunes for easy day trips. The atmosphere is welcoming, laid back, and unforgettable. If you're looking for another ordinary hotel, this isn't it. If you're looking for an experience you'll remember long after you leave, the Muskegon River Inn is absolutely worth the trip. I'll definitely be back."
