“The property has a great location and view. It has a very peaceful setting, and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck. We also liked the coffee nook; it was nice and bright. The cabin was very dark and could use some lamps in the living and bedroom areas. The carpets were very dirty even though we were asked to remove our shoes before entering the home. It could have used a full-length mirror; there was only a small bathroom mirror. The shower and sink drained very slowly - had to stand in a……

“Property was decent and comfortable. The layout worked and added separation for two sleeping areas. The decor gave off a modern vibe. There was a lack of attention to the details though, leaving things looking unfinished. For example, the ice maker didn't make ice and there wasn't an alternative ice tray to make ice, one of the electrical outlet in the kitchen didn't work, and other small things.”

“The room was clean and in a good location. The bathroom floor was terrible. The tiles were lifting and stuck to your feet.”

“We found Carter’s Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was only a few blocks from restaurants. We loved the large laundry room for removing our wet boots and clothes after spending the day stone hunting. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. ”

“We got this on short notice for 2 couples, and we were grateful to find a place. It would be ideal for a few more people at the price. Only complaints were only one bathroom and the bedrooms were pretty small. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay with spacious living area and game room downstairs.”

“This was a good location for Grand Marias exploring. As I drove up I realized the pic from the Ad is the other side of the house, I walked around to make sure I was in the right place. It's older with alot of wood but cute decorations and pretty much everything we needed. It's small but functional. The the screened porch that is turned into a bedroom/living room is fine as long as you dont want alot of privacy, it's a partial wall, doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and door that does not……

“It was easy to find and settle in. The only "complaint" that I would have is there is a tree growing from the beach and blocking the view from the chairs. We had a great view of the lake through sunset and moon rise, and the sunrise proved the name Paradise.”
