Initially given a room where the bed was unmade and trash cans full. Switched to a room that had been cleaned but the floors were not cleaned well. Rooms have been updated but some furniture oversized for the room making it hard to get around. Exterior of building as well as walkways are poorly maintained.

Would stay here again

We had a nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly enough it was nice and quiet.its in a convenient location.just don’t expect much out of the breakfast it wasn’t much there is mostly carbs for breakfast it was our only real complaint

I would recommend this hotel. They are doing some rejuvenating on the outside, but the rooms are clean and spacious. Continental breakfast is a plus.

I have stayed at the Newcastle property on and off for the past 20+ years. Under the Days Inn name it is more modern and nicer. The gentleman who did the check in was very friendly, cordial and helpful. He took the time to explain things thoroughly. He was very nice and was definitely an asset to Days Inn.

Very unique parking! you can walk directly into room without going through a hallway. it was the best breakfast in a motel our entire trip! Staff was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. Room and bed was excellent & quiet.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years and it definitely was not kept up to industry standards. I was happy to see it had been purchased by Wyndam/Super 8 hoping that had done a big remodel of the rooms. My room definitely had been upgraded in some respects, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Toilet seat didn't fit properly and moved around, caulking around the tub and flooring needs redone, couldn't get any hot water for a shower, found several things that were not cleaned properly, needed directions on how to operate the TV system, etc. Hoping improvements will continue.

Went into the bathroom to use restroom found out the toilet was coming apart at the bottom and it was jiggling back-and-forth water leaking out of the bottom. holes in the wall covered up with tape
