“This home is a history lesson. Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. Everyone pitched in, bringing whatever expertise they had, to get the job done. All of the basics are provided,……

“We had a last minute cancellation of a rental house and needed a place close to Gore that allowed pets. This house was great and Irene was very accommodating, making sure we enjoyed our stay. Check in was super smooth, location was close to Gore, with a pet friendly home and surrounding area. ”

“Room was nice but, loaded with drain flies we had to have killed at least 20 throughout the stay. Water pressure in the shower was non existent. The pool that the said that was useable hasn’t been clean all season. Location was great walking distance to downtown.”

It has a secluded feeling while still being 5 min from stores and restaurants. Gale was friendly and responsive to any questions. We would absolutely stay there again!”
