Clean room, attentive staff, and lovely breakfast spread consisting of fresh baked goods, baked eggs, fruits, bread, all kinds of beverages. I've stayed here 2 years in a row now and will be happy to be back.

Great spot for our trip to see the eclipse in April 2024 and for Vermont sightseeing. Very clean, comfortable room. Pet friendly but no smell of others having pets there. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great hotel

The hotel was very inviting and cozy. There’s a microwave & mini fridge in the room which came in handy for leftovers. The breakfast was a great grab and go or sit in and eat in the common area. No problem parking and getting around. It’s close to ski resorts, a market/gas station and restaurant. And the staff is super friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the lodge for three nights, very warm and comfortable. It’s home like loge, not like commercial hotels. We enjoyed the simple but delicious homemade cakes in the morning as breakfast. They have hot water for hot chocolate and tea the whole day, very convenient. It’s close to mount Snow and Stratton. We will be back in summer.

A gem of the West River Valley

The owners have made significant investment in refurbishing this motor inn. It’s an affordable gem in the West River Valley, near Newfane which is one of the most photogenic villages in all of New England. It’s clean, quiet, comfortable, and the customer service is excellent.

Excellent!

Beautiful location - older inn but well maintained. Some traffic noise but thanks for the complimentary earplugs. Best stop on our whole vacation. Breakfast was amazing -local and fresh. Handy small grocery nearby. Outdoor seating and fire pits. So nice. Loved it.

Owners Oliver and Davis could not have been kinder and more helpful. They brought special goodies for breakfast and made delicious coffee. We wanted to be close to our family for my dad’s memorial and the location was very convenient to New Fane and stores. The motel is older and fairly well kept, just bring ear plugs for the loud trucks that go down the road in early am.

It's an outdated roadside motel but it was a great location for a ski day @ Stratton (30 min drive). There aren't many places that have an honor system snack station. Really cute, esp after coming in for a long drive. Sweet breakfast w/ fresh bread/muffins and granola bars to grab/go. My only complaint is that the coffee pot was empty on Sunday AM. Only keurig which is a weak substitute for fresh coffee IMO, but everything else was fine. No complaints
