“This cabin was perfect for our family for a long weekend. During the day we had access to multiple swimming pools and lake-front beaches, with beach toys and floaties provided in the shed. At night we enjoyed grilling our dinner and making use of the fire pit in the front yard (especially after the kids were in bed). This was really ideal for our first vacation in the Poconos and we would definitely come back.”

The stove had a spray all over that that seems like it was forgotten to be taken off. And the fridge smelled very bad. The heat in the basement was non existent and it was hard to figure out the heaters. Aside from that our stay was very nice and comfortable.”

“My wife and I both wanted to spend Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer away from the dinn of traffic, merchants and overconsumption that accompanies what were once commemorative holidays. This property fit the bill. All of my contact was with “Lacy” the owner who lives nearby and was readily accessible through text as well as very knowledgeable as to the history of the area, places to dine etc. The house had all the quiet comforts and we plan to stay there again. “Second Stay as wonderful as the first”

“We had a wonderful two night stay at The Rex! I loved the stylish design aesthetic of the hotel and the attention to detail. We were there for the eclipse, and we appreciated that they left us a welcome gift with eclipse glasses and a cute little reusable tote. Each room has their own fire pit, and we made s’mores each night. We hiked allover Promised Land State Park which was accessible on-site at The Rex. We plan to go back! ”

“The perfect place to get away from life’s busy schedules and retreat into the woods for 3 days. We drank mulled wine outside by the fire under the stars, went hiking and fished the stocked waters, caught trout, enjoyed the beautiful views of the falls and nature and slept soundly listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. Loved it and highly recommend this treasure!”
