Great location

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location, close to Beach and Bay along with the grocery store and several local shops. The hot tub was a huge hit!

Good location

This home was perfect for our trip. Location was great. Near beach, clubs, bars and shopping. The only thing I would like to have had at our stay was some cleaning items. If a spill occurred we want to clean it properly.

Great for 5

Location was fabulous and 2 min walk to the beach. Plus a very tasty taco stand steps from the front door. Hot tub was great, only complaint was the fridge was pretty smelly from the previous guests. 4.5/5!

Newport Trip

I was looking for a place to stay for my birthday trip and found this awesome home! It was the perfect space to fit me and my friends, and the outside balcony with the hot tub was the best addition for our relaxation while there. It was about a block away from the beach and had close places to eat/shop nearby. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a chill beach getaway!

A touch of “home”

Looking for a vacation rental a spa/jacuzzi was a must. The location of this rental was perfect as it was a two minute walk to the beach and grocery store literally around the corner. We look forward to visiting this spacious and clean condo in the near future.

Comfortable home great location

We were very happy with the house, it was clean and comfortable and great location. The only issue we had was the hot tub looked dirty when we arrived but they promptly got someone out to clean it. It is a small very basic hot tub so difficult to keep sparkling clean, so wasn’t a huge issue, we still were able to use it during our stay. The house had lots of towels which was nice for the beach and spa. And was very nice to have the grocery store around the corner and the beach across the street.

The place is nothing like the photos. It’s so run down and the place is a dump. The furniture is all broken and there are rusted nails all over the deck that I stepped on. The internet never worked and maintenance never responds. Stay away!!

Great location

This is a cute older home. The kitchen and floors throughout have been updated. The location is great, one block to the beach and Pavilions Grocery is just around the corner. The photos are not exactly up to date. The patio furniture and spa are very old and weathered. The french doors to the patio do not close properly and as a result the property must be constantly swept for sand. Sand is expected at the beach and if we had stayed only for a week or a weekend, it wouldn't have bothered me, after a three weeks I was kinda over it. Walking to the beach every morning and evening cannot be beat. Our dog thought she died and went to heaven. Overall good value.

Newport Staycation

We love renting homes when we travel. With COVID we decided to stay close and not travel. The house was okay, the living space was smaller than expected, but having the large deck patio helped with space. The management should have warned us about street noice and construction. During our stay for 2 full days there was major Street construction right in front of the house. It began at 7 am and lasted until 5; so very noisy that we couldn’t enjoy the patio and had to keep the windows and doors closed! Very disappointing! We’ll look for a better house next time we’re in Newport.

Wonderful 4th of July.

This house was great minus a few things. The oven didn’t work and we were not told ahead of time. I brought all the supplies to make myself a birthday cake and was very disappointed. The fans were very very dusty! And a maintenance man showed up unannounced to work on the hot tub. Last that there is noise in the morning behind the house of loading and unloading trucks to the grocery store. Didn’t bother us but just be aware. Great location, great communication from the rental company.

Has Advantages and Disadvantages (Dont go off pictures)

In need of a deep clean, floors havent been mopped in months. Fans are covered in dust if you suffer any allergies like myself. Spa isnt serviced like they state we were only able to use once then noticed it was lacking chemicals. After a deep clean the unit would have been perfect, location is great and walking distance to so much. Beds are very soft, has washer and dryer I washed bedding at arrival as I wasnt confident of the cleaning based on everything else. Guest services never responded, not sure if that is normal or not so hopefully you dont need anything important.

EXCELLENT LOCATION!

Stayed here in April 2021, couldn't be happier with this location. Less than a block to the ocean and a few blocks from the boardwalk. Tons of restaurants and options within walking distance. Had family come and stay with us for 2 nights that lived in another part of Cali. They have 2 young boys and absolutely loved the bunk beds! Upon arrival we did notice that the tables were sticky and the furniture had sand on it (and on the floor) kitchen counters were sticky in one area and the bedroom dresser and drawers were dirty and I had to clean these before we could use them. I will say we had an issue with the shower (our issue) and when we called they sent someone within a few hours to fix it. The hot tub was a great treat and had no issues. Internet worked great and no issues with anything else. I would recommend this for the location and the roomy feel of the place.

Pictures are deceiving

The pictures of this property must’ve been taken when it first opened, it does not look like that now. The inside was ok, the floor had not been cleaned very thoroughly. I wiped up some water that spilled and the paper towel was black, so were the bottom of our socks. We ended up wearing our shoes the whole time. The ensuite shower was not cleaned well either. The room that had the other king bed, could use some TLC. The patio was filthy. The cushions looked like someone had spilt something all over them. You could tell that people used the hot tub multiple times, there was dirt swirled around the hot tub, and no one bothered to hose the patio down. I took pictures and sent them to Vacasa, they said someone would come clean, which did not happen. I told them to compensate my a nights stay for the inconvenience, which they did. We put beach towels on the chairs so we could at least sit outside. It’s close walking distance to the beach, which was lovely. Probably won’t ever book this place again.

We entered the unit to see "BROKEN" signs on the dishwasher and vaccum cleaner. The jacuzzi was full of sand. After 10 minutes of walking on the floors barefoot, the soles of my feet were black. Further, I'd reached out to mgmt to ensure good cleaning practices would be used - they were not. The kicker - which was not listed on the site - is that there is NO DOOR TO THE RESTROOM FROM THE MASTER BEDROOM!! I was assured the property mgr would reach out to make better on all the issues we encountered. She did not - even after I'd reached out several times to get this resolved. The temp mgr did set up maintenance for the jacuzzi and dishwasher, but it put a damper on our trip and compromised our plans. I DO NOT recommend this unit.

Great location. Home needs some tlc

This is our second time staying at this home. The location is great. The house isn’t very clean. Lots of fingerprints and dirty walls everywhere. Family room furniture has springs popping through fabric. Kitchen is not well stocked. It all just needs some love and attention. Most concerning is Vacasa (or the i Owner?) cancelled part of our reservation thirty days before our arrival. We had originally booked the adjacent studio so we could have four bedrooms. But last minute they told us the fourth bedroom was unavailable…,although we noticed no one using it all week. Everything worked out this time as one of our children couldn’t come last minute. But we would have been in real trouble if we needed that bedroom to accommodate our family. Not sure if this was on the owner or Vacasa but because of this issue and the overall condition of the home, we will not be returning. This rental demands top dollar but is not worth the money in my opinion. I don’t mind paying it the accommodations are as nice as advertised. This place is not.

Short but sweet

We only had 3 nights in Newport Beach but wish it was longer. We stayed in the top unit. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We would lounge on the top deck for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. The location is perfect. The grocery store , ice cream, awesome breakfast cafe, pier and beach are all within walking distance. We rented bikes one day but you really don’t need them as everything is walkable. The only complaint we had is there is no air condition so it does get a little hot but there are plenty of fans. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect weekend location

If you want to be in the hub of Newport’s beach scene, this is the perfect location. Located a block from the water, next to a shopping center, and close to everything you want to experience. It’s the upstairs unit of a bi-level, with a deck that is very spacious. Three bedrooms was the perfect size for our family of 5 adults, plus our dog. It’s an older property, but sith newer floors, cabinets, and bathroom fixtures, it was very nice. When we schedule our next trip to NB, I hope this house is available.

California Dreaming

This house is in the perfect location. Two houses down from Pavillions grocery store. The house came well equipped with towels and the bed were very comfortable. We rented unit B- It has a beautiful private casita as part of the rental that offers nice privacy for parents or additional guests.

Great location

The location of the unit was great, a block away from the beach. The unit had everything you needed to take advantage of this fact and we had great sunsets to watch and enjoy.
