The view was okay but our window you had to close with a rope tied around the handle would not shut all the way. Refrigerator and microwave dirty, very old And our TV was unplugged from the wall and the cable box had to do a hole setup ourselves. Needs some updates And a good cleaning pictures on website Obviously we're taking years ago. For the price of this hotel it should be a lot nicer. Beach access is extremely difficult. You have to walk quite a ways to get to the beach. The staff at the front counter was extremely nice and I'm sure it's not her fault that this place needs a renovation. We got the little bit of sleep we needed And hit the road at 6:00 a.m. couldn't get out of there fast enough. Sorry and I don't usually leave bad reviews. But please do not overpay for this place.

I made this booking for a family member. I am basing this on feedback I received from them. Staff was very kind and helpful. The property does not have any cots or rollaways. They were good to allow for a late checkout - most likely since the family arrived so late. Very close to beach! Beautiful area.

We had nice view to the ocean between buildings. Check-in went smoothly and quickly. Bed was comfortable. Walls are paper thin so expect to hear neighbors coughing and talking above and on the sides, footsteps above, as well as sounds of toilet flushing and showers running. I took a shower and all of the sudden the water went cold! That woke me up! Summer on the Oregon coast has prices high!

The gentleman at check-in was super kind & helpful. The woman who was cleaning rooms was extremely friendly & welcoming. She went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful. The property is not brand new...it is showing its age. BUT, our room was very clean & comfortable. The bed was amazing & my son loved the bathtub...said it was the best part of our vacation. Thank you for a great stay!

The property itself was very dilapidated. The building where the pool was looked like it needed major roof repairs. We swam in the pool and used the hot tub (jets didn’t really work, but temp was just right). Our room was nice with a good view of the ocean. The breakfast area was tiny and cramped for people waiting and grabbing food. I do want to note that there is 0 beach access right from the hotel. It’s too steep. You can see the ocean, but can’t access the beach. You have to walk several blocks to the NYE beach access road. And when I say this beach is covered in sand fleas, I mean COVERED in sand fleas. Everywhere. And the water was freezing cold (we were there late July). It was freeze your feet cold, not just chilly.

We checked in at the designated time and the front desk service was acceptable, but things quickly went downhill. I believed I had booked an ocean view room, but was given a standard one instead. When I asked about it, I was told it was just a regular room—disappointing, but I didn’t want to fuss. I paid a small fee to upgrade to an actual ocean view room, which felt like a win—until it wasn’t. After moving all our things and heading out to dinner, I missed some calls from the hotel. Turns out, the room I was given had already been assigned to another guest who just hadn’t put their stuff in yet. So the hotel staff entered the room, packed up our belongings without us there, and moved us to yet another room. This felt like a major invasion of privacy and completely ruined the experience. While the view was nice, the chaos and mishandling of the situation made it hard to enjoy our stay. Overall, a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Easy check in. But when we got to our room there were bags of trash in front of it, including one that was ripped open with trash hanging out - including a giant hairball like you take out of a hairbrush. Ew. Had to kick it out of the way to get into the room. Bags were also still there when we returned to the room hours later. Happy to have breakfast in the lobby in the morning, made our departure quick and easy.
