「The escape villa is beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and stunning tree views. The fireplace is a true centerpiece—gorgeous to look at from anywhere in the villa, while also providing excellent warmth and comfort. The open-plan jacuzzi is another highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views. Both the couch and the bedding are very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. A couple of small areas could be improved: the TV reception wasn’t great, and some of the bathroom...

「We had the most wonderful stay at Clifftop celebrating our recent engagement. The property was absolutely gorgeous and had immaculate views over the valley and tree tops. The perfect place for a couples relaxation getaway 」

「The villa is located on the edge of the jungle, very quiet and you can see wild animals. The hotel is close to the hot spring center and can be reached by walking. The villa is beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. The hotel staff is very friendly. If I go again in the future, I will continue to book this hotel.」

「Comfy and welcoming. A big vase of fresh tulips and port with small crystal glasses are very nice touches. Love the working fireplace in the lounge room. The house is very clean and well maintained with a good mix of rustic and modern furnishings. Fantastic kitchen. Split system AC in the three beautiful bedrooms with well-made beds and lots of pillows. You can soak in the spa bath though spa is not working. Two toilets with showers are so convenient.」

「Very very average. Air con doesn’t work, lamp broken and wobbly in bedroom, spa way too hot and cannot be adjusted (had to find a hose and add cold water) the couch is very uncomfortable. Overall it’s aged and odd. Not even good to take pets as there are no fenced off area’s.」

「The accomodation was very comfortable and close to city. We loved to hear the trains going past. Being 4 elderly ladies who are not familiar with technology we would have found it helpful if there had been printed directions to operate the television. However we were very satisfied with our stay in lovely Castlemaine.」

「A lovely, private cottage, perfect for a quiet break.」

「This property was just what I was looking for. It was in a great location being only a short walk to the lake and to the main street. The weather was cold, yet the place was very comfortable and warm. Although we didn't get a chance to play any games there were heaps of board games and DVDs. The kitchen was well stocked. There were two decent sized rooms and a good bathroom. It was perfect for a weekend away with my teenage daughter. The property owner communicated well with clear instructions...

「Had a lovely weekend again this year. Lovely house - cosy & comfortable. Not all beds had electric blankets and one had a blanket but no cord , but that wasn’t a huge issue. There were a few ants in the pantry & dishwasher but not in plague proportions!Love the house, great position for walking into town. Plenty of space and parking. Will hopefully be back next year!Thanks Mario. 」
