「While we thought it was cool staying in an old hotel, and the staff was great, there were a few holes in ceiling (for repairs) and no amenities: We had a bed, tv, desk, ac & everything in the bathroom was fine. The staff let us know that the owner was trying to fix up the place, because it's a historical site, but starting with the windows may not have been the best option. The hotel is 100 years old and we understood that but the bed comforter needs an update, new carpet, breakfast in the am...

「The good stuff: the property has a lot of parking space and the area is overall quiet. The bad: 1. Room dirty and stinky, horrible smell upon arrival 2. Breakfast is awful, if you care about it. Coffee too. 3. Room A/C unit is the NOISIEST unit on the Planet. Whoever produced it, and whoever bought it, must to hate the human race! It's absolutely impossible to sleep with this God awful noise, all the time. I would NOT recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!」

I only had a couple things that could’ve made it better. I couldn’t get the water to drain as I took a shower, and the shower head does not disperse water in the way I’d like. So I couldn’t say, “It had a great shower!”. And I didn’t like the 25 charge for my dog, tho I know a charge is common. I’m just grateful they...

「Nice 2 night stay」

「An absolutely lovely place. Quiet, secluded but not lonely, and very peaceful. We loved seeing all the wildlife and visiting the local sites. I am already planning our next trip here!」

「The setting, on a gravel road in the woods, was beautiful, quiet and private. A nice fire pit was provided in an open area with chairs and some wood (we brought additional wood and burned all of it). The cabin was well-prepared and attractive. Fresh, warm homemade bread awaited us at check-in. The newer round shower was great. The loveseat was comfortable. Everything worked great. Debra responded quickly and completely to our one texted question on arrival, and was helpful with the reservation...

「Check in was super easy. Host was very responsive. Beds were a little small ( full / queen) and not the most comfortable, but we were only in town for one night for high school graduation. Jasper was my hometown for many years and it was nice to have a nice place to stay overnightfor the event. Thank you Tracy!」

「Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun. Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. 」
