“In Turangi for a few days fishing with a mate great for two blokes with own bedrooms and ensuites one upstairs one down off the garage. Does sleep a couple more on a mezzanine above kitchen but not ideal unless young and fit lol. Possibly a bit dodgy for older folks or younger kids. Good clean unit with all ammenities. Comfy beds and good showers. Everything you need and nothing ya don’t. Fair condition for age and nice and warm. Good sized garage to keep vehicle and all our wet gear in at……

“We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. ”

“Everything we needed was in the house. It was not only a house. It was a home. Cozy, warm, thoughtful. We did not feel cold during the winter. Location was accessible to dining areas and New World grocery. Kitchen was complete and have enjoyed cooking, too. Because it was winter, most plants in the garden were dry, but hopefully it will turn into green flowery plants during the spring. The range hood in the kitchen just needs a little cleaning as oil was dripping from it, but it did not bother……

“We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by……
