The women that took care of us were amazing. They made an incredible breakfast. The house is so lovely. Our room was large, comfortable, beautiful bathroom and a lovely deck to enjoy. Right on the river, easy to walk and enjoy. Love it. See you again!

We celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Chestnut Inn. It was quaint, serene, relaxing and peaceful. Very convenient location and easy parking. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was delicious! This was our first time staying at a B&B and absolutely loved it!

We very much enjoyed “breakfast at 9:00 sharp” and the opportunity it gave us to talk to fellow travelers over a delicious meal. Our king room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable and quiet—I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the large balcony. We were also very glad to find that the Wego bus line has a stop at the curb out front (it’s in fact called the “Bed and Breakfast stop”) and follows River Road to the area of the falls and related attractions. And lastly, we appreciated Robin’s flexibility with regard to our late arrival and her responsiveness in general. Thank you.

Great Experience, lovely Place

We usually booked rooms in hotels, this was our first Bed&Breakfast experience. Our stay was excellent, We felt like we were in a friends house. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and processional. You can tell they love what they do. Thank you Robin for such great service. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary at the Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. Robin the host makes you feel at home and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We booked a room right when we left to bring our kids. I would highly recommend the Chestnut Inn to any friends or family.

My only disappointment was that the pool is shown in the photos but when we arrived we were told that the nice welcoming pool was not available to guests due to insurance. i would have easily signed a waiver as it was a terribly hot weekend and we had packed for swimming. if it had of mentioned that the pool was not available i would have booked elsewhere.

Common areas smelled highly of smoke. No shampoo or conditioner in bath and main light in bath didn’t work. Cold faucet was pulling out of sink. Bed was comfortable and nice and breakfast was pretty good but was served at 9 am.

10/10 stars, cannot recommend this B&B experience in Niagara highly enough. We will absolutely be back, we are singing their praises for the rest of our life - this was a magical stay at a once in a life time bed and breakfast. I cannot be more emphatic over how much we loved our stay. The house, our room, the people… it was everything that makes travel as amazing as it is. My wife and I stayed here for four nights in July. Robin and the entire staff were simply magnificent. The kindest, most generous and warming host and staff anyone could ever ask for. Truly appreciative of their service, we felt like we were coming home every night. The house/property is simply gorgeous. It is an old gorgeous house, with incredibly adorable and comfortable rooms. We had the Rose room. The cleanest at accommodations I’ve experience in years, even compared to high end hotels! The staff provided a communal homemade breakfast every morning for the guests, and the food was hearty and delicious, with a generous spread of pastries fruit and coffee. We will be thinking of this place often, and recommending it to anyone we know coming through the area. We cannot wait to get back!

The quaint Inn was approx. 1 mile from the falls - which was a nice walk. The breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean. The host was rather brief at check-in.

The first thing you smell when you walk in is an old smoke smell. The workers smoke there even though it’s a non smoking Inn. The main hostess was very grumpy and somewhat stern with all of the people staying there. She was very unprofessional. The bed in my room was a daybed. It was incredibly high. I have never seen one like it. I had to reach over and pull myself up with the bed frame to get in. My friend and I had to wait in the sitting area for two hours for a ride to the airport. She needed to use the restroom, and they refused to let her use a restroom. There isn’t a public restroom there, and they wouldn’t let her use theirs. They were very rude about it. The four of us agreed that we wouldn’t recommend or visit it again.
