"Room was clean Staff were great Unfortunately my experience during my stay wasn’t as planned. Due to the hotel being a shelter for individuals during our stay. Which don’t get me wrong I’m all for helping those who need. It would have been nice to inform guests prior to booking of changes taking place in the hotel and discounts should be provided. I had spent quite a bit of money for my room with my family of four to have a family vacation without any violence of individual fighting, yelling, using inappropriate language etc. in front of my children. It would have also been respectful to have known that the amenities in the hotel were unavailable. We were looking forward to the à la cart brunch that we so often enjoyed and love. Unfortunately brunch wasn’t all that great. Informing guests of changes in the hotel should be posted upon booking at all times. I was also told by front desk staff that it was a resent situation which I later found out wasn’t. It became a housing shelter in January and will be a housing shelter until at least August. "
