Fantastic stay

We had a brilliant stay here. The accommodation was very comfortable and it had everything you might need. Brigette, the host, was very accommodating, providing a travel cot for our daughter. The home and surroundings were beautiful and we look forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic house in a perfect location, with easy access to anywhere in the Nice area. The property is spotless and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool area is beautiful, with the pool itself ideal for children and maintained to a very high standard. We especially enjoyed spending most evenings outside in the covered seating area, eating and drinking together. Brigitte has done a wonderful job—couldn’t recommend this holiday home enough!

Ideal Villa

Suited us very well for our holiday. Convenient for Nice airport, yet situated well away in the hills. Food shops within walking distance. Nice warm pool. Brigitte is a very friendly and hospitable host and speaks good English. A very enjoyable holiday overall.

Wonderful house in a great location

We had a lovely week in La Gaude. The house was extremely well kitted out, spacious, great covered outdoor seating and the pool area and gardens were completely beautiful. Brigitte lives next door snd was extremely helpful with advice on the local area. We would definitely return if coming back to the area area area!

Spent a wonderful 10 days at this beautiful villa. Host Brigitte was always on hand if we needed anything. Plenty of air conditioning in all rooms. Delightful swimming pool where we lazed many afternoons. Surrounded by beautiful olive trees and gardens. Beautiful location on the fabulous Côte D’Azur. Away from all the bustle yet close enough to visit so many wonderful locations. Intermarché close by for all shopping needs. Ample parking. Smart TV. All bedrooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked with all necessary equipment. Outdoor seating and BBQ available. Sad to have left and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Brigitte!

Stay In The Villa, not a Hotel

We were awed by the villa! The countryside is gorgeous. The home is more than expected! It was immaculate inside and out. There is everything in the villa you may need, linens, pans, glasses, and huge bedrooms. Brigitte was warm and welcoming when we arrived and when we left but otherwise was available if we needed her. The yard is beyond beautiful! The landscaping is so gorgeous. Lots of chairs and lounges around the pool, which was warm and covered so it stayed clean and at a perfect temperature. There are no swimming towels included in the villa so bring some beach towels. The bedrooms all had beautiful views. Each room came with lots of storage and closet space. The bathrooms are good sized and one has a double sink so easy to get ready in the morning. As Americans we would have been grateful for a few more bath towels as we were there a week. So close to so many things and a wonderful place just to relax and be together! Definitely highly recommended!

Perfect way to end the summer

A lovely way to end our summer spending 2 weeks in la Gaude, end of August in to September as a family of 4. Brigitte welcomed us and showed us around her gorgeous property and left us to it, making sure we were happy and to contact her if we needed anything. The house and grounds are lovely, beds so comfy and many places to hang out and relax both inside and out. Oh and of course there’s the wonderful pool with sun beds and more seating. Surrounding scenery is stunning, less than a 10 min walk to a great Boulangerie, supermarket and a surprisingly good restaurant attached to the Avocado hotel. Hired a car for trips to the coast and also used Uber to go to some more local places. This really is a beautiful part of the world. Dom & Jo.

Beautiful oasis in the hills of Saint-Jeannet

Just home from a wonderful first time visit to the south coast of France. The house is stunning with everything you could ever need (including AC in every room) The host is super helpful and quick to respond to any query you may have. We were a party of 6 ranging from 75 - 15 in age. Garden and pool are a delight after a day exploring the nearby towns of Saint-Jeannet, Tourette sur Loup, St Paul de Vence as well as Nice, Canne, etc. A car is strongly advised although there are alot of bus routes and there 2/3 restaurants, a boulangerie and a supermarket about 1km walk away on a decent, quiet, tarmac'd road which we all managed to walk. The properties bedrooms are split of 3 floors (2 on the first floor, one in the "lighthouse" and an additional room which can be made up on the ground floor so it has a lot of stairs, not a problem for us, but families with toddlers/young kids may struggle. Have since decided that we'll be heading back to the same area to explore more over the next few years. 5* rental, can't recommend the property or the host highly enough.

We arrived later than expected. Brigitte Welcome us in the Villa. Give us a short instruction how to find and use equipment in the Villa. We enjoyed the Villa, the Pool and Garden which ist more Like a Park with a lot to explore. Nice Restaurants next to the Villa are available. Who Wish to avoide to Drive to nice for beach visist, a beach called plage de loupe is 25 min away at cagnes de mer. Also Check Out was really good, communication was also really good.

We had a lovely stay is probably the most beautiful villa we could imagine and have ever seen. One of the loveliest villas we've stayed in!

We had a fabulous holiday in La Gaude and can't recommend this villa highly enough. Brigitte was extremely helpful both before and during our stay - her English is way better than our French! The pool was stunning and beautifully clean and the villa is kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The surrouding area is lovely too, with lovely villages to visit within half an hour or so. Would recommend having a car, even though the hire is pricey, as it makes getting around so much easier. We would definitely love to return.

Lovely holiday in August.

Myself, my Daughter, Son in law and two grandchildren aged nine and five years spent a week in this lovely villa recently. The highlight has to be the pool, surrounding area and garden with fruit trees. We all loved it especially the children who would happily have spent the week there. Lots of places nearby, we visited Vence, St Paul de Vence, Biot to see the glass blowing, Monaco and Nice. Close by is St Jeanette which has a great boulangerie/ patisserie. The villa is well priced, beautiful pictures on every wall if you are an art lover. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool. Brigitte is friendly and welcoming ,she lives next door but leaves you to enjoy your holiday .Would highly recommend.

A wonderful stay

We spent three weeks at the rental in La Gaude and loved everything about it. The house is spacious, clean, quiet and in a great location: five minutes to get our morning boulangerie/patisserie fare, get some staples for the kitchen or fill up the car, centrally located to visit the main French Riviera locations but a little bit "away from it all" so we would feel at home, be able to enjoy our privacy and get a good rest after our very full days. The house is only 15/20 mn from the major highway connecting France to Italy (“autoroute A8”) and from the international Nice Airport. The house and the property offer many options to gather together and entertain (in the big room, the patio or the garden) or to spend some quality personal time (for example in the “tower” room overlooking the countryside or walking in the woods). Its location makes it just as easy to access the back-country (including ski stations in season) as the Mediterranean coast for sunbathing, swimming or dining. All was exactly as advertised on the site and perfectly met our needs. We loved the architecture of the house on three levels and the fact that it has quite a bit of land (or “backyard”) to step outside and sit down or stroll. The hosts lived just next door and were very accessible, helpful and considerate throughout the stay; they took time to understand our needs and did all they could to make our time on the property as worry-free and enjoyable as possible. They were also very reasonable in regard to the terms of the rental and discussing check-in/check-out options, utilities, etc. We definitely recommend this property to those who are looking for something a little more authentic, with more “local flavors” and seclusion than what the heavily touristic waterfront have to offer.

De très bonnes vacances

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Brigit. La maison est très belle et bien entretenue. Nous avions assez de place avec trois familles et notre chien. La mer était facilement accessible en voiture. Les commerces et une boulangerie sont rapidement accessibles. Brigit était toujours joignable. Merci beaucoup pour les bons moments. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Haus war ein Traum. Viele Zimmer, tolle Bäder, Pool toll, großer Garten, Platz fürs Auto und Anhänger. Lidl fast um die Ecke. Wir wurden sehr lieb empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Ohne Auto geht es leider nicht, da das Meer etwas entfernt ist, daher einen Stern Abzug. Aber einige brauchen ja kein Meer 😊

Ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus mit wunderschönem Garten

Wir verreisten mit 4 Personen und einem Hund. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir super freundlich von Brigitte empfangen und waren schon gleich von dem wunderschönen Garten beeindruckt, der was uns sehr wichtig war auch komplett eingezäunt ist. Das Ferienhaus bietet alles was man braucht und auch in der direkten Umgebung findet man alles Wichtige. In 20-30min ist man am Meer, aber dank des Pools konnte man die Tage auch wunderbar dort verbringen. Die Zimmer verfügen alle über eine Klimaanlage, allerdings sind die Betten recht kurz. Große Menschen haben hier wahrscheinlich ein Problem. Mein Freund und mein Bruder (ca. 1,80m) mussten beide quer im Bett liegen, aber dafür sind die Betten sehr breit, sodass das auch kein Problem war. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, lediglich die Messer sind ein bisschen Stumpf. Ansonsten haben wir wirklich nichts vermisst und es kann gut sein, dass wir auch ein weiteres Mal dort Urlaub machen werden :) Ein Tipp: Wenn Sie abends draußen sitzen, ist Insektenspray auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Excellent sejour

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans la maison, elle est très pratique, beaucoup d'espace et le tout très bien aménagé ( cuisine est très bien équipée) . La maison est vraiment propre avec un très beau jardin. L’environnement est calme et nous avons pu admirer le ciel le soir. La climatisation y est dans toute la maison cela peut être très pratique. La propriétaire est très réactive et se trouve à proximité pour répondre aux questions éventuelles. A "St Jeannet" se trouve une bonne boulangerie et plusieurs commerces à proximité. De jolis villages aux alentours ( aussi le village Gillette et la rivière pont de la Cerisé après une marche sportive offre une bonne alternative à la mer), la propriétaire est de bon conseil pour visiter la région. Prévoir un produit anti-moustique au jardin en soirée.

Séjour splendide

Nous avons séjourné dans la maison au mois d'août 2021. La maison est spacieuse, fonctionnelle et très bien situé. Les chambres climatisées sont un réel atout ainsi que la piscine. La propriétaire est charmante et disponible si besoin. Je recommanderai cette location avec grand plaisir et n'hésiterais a y retourner.
