「We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the house and its amenities. Communication with Kim was superb. She is an excellent host and wish her the best. Some thought the beds were too soft and that might be because they slept in too long. Another mentioned it would be great if there was an option other than bench seats around the kitchen table. 「Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. 」

「This double yurt is in a private area of the farm that is accessible by car and has plenty of space inside to spread out and relax. The Finnish sauna by the pond is a must and the shower by the farmhouse, a short walk away, is a great addition. There is a BBQ for cooking but we did use our own little camp stove for morning coffee and toast. A great back to nature experience with a view across the fields. 」

It was clean but showing its age, and we had a number of issues:- The person at the front desk had difficulty locating the reservation I made 5 months in advance.
