「I do not recommend to stay in this hotel if... 1). you cannot speak basic Japanese. The staff cannot speak basic English and they were not even trying to use any translator device to communicate with foreign guests. I had to use limited Japanese to communicate with the staff. 2). you cannot tolerate heat nor noise. I checked in 2 days ago. This is already April which is spring season, but the hotel still had not offered cool function of air conditioning. How stubborn the hotel management is....

「Our recent stay at NIPPONIA Miyama was unforgettable — not just because of the beautifully restored houses, but because every detail showed how thoughtful and considerate the team is. The atmosphere is calm, zen, and deeply connected to the surrounding nature. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to tailor activities just for us. They arranged a private hike to a nearby waterfall, followed by a farm‑to‑table experience where we learned to identify local...
