“Communication was excellent with owner. The pool was alot of fun. The house was very clean. 2 fridges were awesome. Lots of bathrooms! The reason i did not give it a 5 is the living room sits 6 with very uncomfortable furniture and the dining room sits 6 with higher chairs, not good for kids and many of the beds were very warped and old. The weekend we were there it snowed and snowed. Lovely but no one came to shovel us out so bring your own shovels (and chairs)”

“The cabin was better than the listing! Kitchen is huge, with an amazing amount of cabinet and counter space. Love the island, and up to date appliances!! Lots of living space. Bedrooms were comfy and the loft is such a plus, my grandson loved the birds eye view of the inside;). We were visited by turkeys, and squirrels. Fire pit and patio were much appreciated! Enjoy walking the property and took a short trip to wander the shores of the Mississippi River at the French Access. Will definitely……

“Charming accomodations with nice features such as new appliances including a new large fridge and tiled shower. We thought the beds were very comfortable. Located on a dead end street, so no traffic and across from the police station so felt safe. The host was extremely prompt, responsive and helpful . We would definitely stay again!”

“House was not easily visible from toad. Clean and fresh Only concerns are upper queen bed is not comfortable at all. Lounging are is limited 1 couch. Surely not sufficient to support number of guests”

It was on such a beautiful lake, the house itself was updated, kitchen stocked, whole house was spotless, flat maintained lawn for yard games,!and all the beds were extremely comfortable. I cannot say enough great things about this property or the hosts! They were so communicative and kind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“If you are looking for a beautiful peaceful retreat with a gorgeous view, then this is your place. The host was extremely attentive and flexible. The house is very clean and has lots of space for relaxing. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife, including deer, loons, hummingbirds, and in the very early morning a meandering Black Bear in the distance. We walked and biked on the Paul Bunyon Trail right at the foot of the driveway. We can’t wait to come back!”

“If you are looking for a place to connect with nature - this is it! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Easy access to the bike trail (across road) and we made our way to Zorbas for a picnic lunch and even a few drinks for grandma and Grandpa. Dock and water toys were wonderful would have enjoyed even more with some chairs. Only unexpected part of the property was the trolley to the water but definitely appreciated it as it was the only option to get to the dock. Michael was super to work with……
