Firstly, upon my arrival, there was no one present at the reception desk, despite it not being particularly late. This initial lack of assistance set a rather disappointing tone for my stay. Additionally, the hotel does not seem to provide essential amenities. For instance, there were no glasses of water available, and my room was not cleaned during the first three days of my stay.
Regrettably, I did not feel comfortable during my stay due to a notable lack of organization. For example, I was not given clear instructions on how to access the premises or any details about the surrounding area. Furthermore, it was not specified on Hotels.com that the nearest public transportation is a 30-minute walk away. This can be particularly concerning for solo travelers, especially given the poorly lit areas one must traverse to reach it.
I chose this hotel based on the information provided on Hotels.com, which stated that the airport is 20 minutes away and the cathedral is 15 minutes away. I travel frequently and always prefer staying near a transportation station for emergencies. As a solo traveler, I felt very unsafe walking at night to reach the airport.
