Kim was a great hostess,friendly with lots local knowledge,location was great for dining options. Snorkeling in Slaughter Bay was great,had been to Fiji recently and coral and marine life more plentiful here.Thank you!

Friendly staff. Walkable to the supermarket and all shops in Burnt Pine. I enjoyed the pool after a long day. Only problem was sometimes during evening the RSL club people were really noisy but with good earplugs the problem was solved.

It was incredibly quiet. The spacious grounds never gave you a feeling you were surrounded by people. Issues( beyond the owners control) were dealt with by Karen and Peter with a smile . Thank you. We were very centally located for exploring the island by car and by foot. Food venues and shopping were easily accessed. A great budget option.

The apartment location is central, an easy walk to all clubs, shops and cafes. Whilst the property is a bit tired, it was comfortable for a short stay; the pool was clean, the staff friendly, no wifi available ( but is free next door at the RSL and other businesses), and no air conditioning on the island. A bonus was the car hire included in the cost of the accommodation (which isn't clearly advertised).

The best feature was the friendly staff (Tess) the excellent property location, the garden setting, the size of the accommodation including the kitchen, but the accommodation was a bit old and tired, and needed a good clean, and better facilities for the weather at that time of year. Suggest don't travel July/August.

Norfolk Beauty

Loved staying at Fletcher Christian Apartments in early February 2025. Manager Karen could not have been more helpful, from the minute we arrived, right through our stay, and then even on our last day, provided us with a late check-out, due to our flight not departing till late afternoon. The apartments are right next door to the RSL, which has great evening meals, and a short walk to the centre of Burnt Pine where all the shops, services and cafes are located. So even if you don't hire a car, everything is centrally located. Pool was sparkling clean if you wanted a swim. Apartment was clean, well appointed and comfortable. At night, the island becomes dark and quiet, so a peaceful night's sleep is guaranteed. Whilst the apartments do have a little age on them, so does most of the island's resources, due to the remoteness from Australia and the high freight costs. So if you are looking for a well-priced, clean and comfortable place to enjoy beautiful Norfolk Island, you couldn't go past Fletcher Christian Apartments.

Enjoyed our stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were just next to the RSL which was noisy after hours until late for 2 nights. This was the only draw back

Tess was a wonderful lady- full of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble for her. We did suggest that perhaps carpets be removed from bedrooms as a very musty smell. Minor checks on light bulbs need to be maintained. Location was great for us.the property had everything we needed and great open spaces. We would stay here again.

What we liked the most was the position - walking distance of most things. Tess, the manager was lovely. Comfortable bed, white sheets and good shower and towels. Did not like the cockroaches, which were huge and came into the apartment as no fly screens!

Units tired but tidy, friendly staff at reception. No daily service and towels etc made available only on request. Three star at best, but about normal for Norfolk Island. Pool area was a bonus as not to many motels with pools on Norfolk. Would stay again.
