「A charming home in the middle of Leirvik, just 10 minutes from the Klaksvik ferry to Kalsoy. Do note that the tunnel from Leirvik to Klaksvik comes with an added cost. Lilja does a fantastic job of making your stay personal and the homemade breakfast each morning is a great way to start the day! As I was the only one staying (there are multiple rooms that could potentially be rented out at the same time), I particularly enjoyed our conversations about Faroese life, culture, faith and tourism....

「Nice rental in a small town. There's a Café down the street and a gas station/store not too far away. Good location to drive a half hour or hour to get to many beautiful sites. 」

「Loved my stay here! Although I traveled solo, there is sufficient room for a large family/group. The view of the fjord is extraordinary, and I found myself sitting and watching the beautiful wildlife for hours. The adjustable LED lighting in the kitchen/living room area is a very nice touch, and there are separate indirect heating thermostats to control different parts of the home. The houseboat is situated in a perfect location for driving out of Esturoy and visiting places like Gjógv,...

「Great property. Beautiful surrounds - perfect base for exploring the islands. But not much around other than a shop. No restaurant etc... Would stay there again. Felt authentic.」

「Det kunne været godt at shine stedet op. Det var pletter på møblerne. Vigtigt at noteret at det ikke at egnet til handicappet. Hvis du er mere en 175 høj, så kan du ikke ligge i sengene. Burde skifte senge til nogen uden sengegavl, så man i det midste kan ligge med fødderne uden over sengen. 」

「Beautiful area. The home was well equipped and clean. Had a very comfortable stay. Is very quiet and relaxing. Only one cafe in the town with not long hours so need to be prepared with food to cook when you come. Would recommend. 」
