"Ali and his brother are amazing. They take care of you every single moment. Transportation to Thoddoo was a little intense for the waves but since you arrive to the pier they are there waiting for you. You get a coconut once you are at the hotel since there everything is marvelous. If you really want to live the local experience of Maldives you definitely need to visit this island. Dont forget to try the papaya and mango juice.I love the papaya."

What dreams are made of An Unforgettable Maldives Escape at Veligandu Veligandu Resort & Spa delivered one of the absolute best holidays we’ve ever had in the Maldives. Having previously visited Dusit Thani, Amilla, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Sun Siyam World, Lily Beach, NH Collection Havodda, and Sun Siyam Olhuveli, we set a high bar. Veligandu easily rates right at the very top of that list alongside Dusit Thani the only two islands out of eight we would ever consider returning to. Our stay in Room 224, a Sunset Overwater Pool Villa, was nothing short of extraordinary. Waking up to those views and spending evenings by the private pool made for a seamless paradise experience. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, the food across all dining outlets was incredible, and every member of the staff went above and beyond. A very special mention goes to Naveen, our host, who looked after us with exceptional care and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect.
