The shower head was really poor, so small for such a large bathroom. No firepits as advertised. The front desk knew nothing about firepits. We could only use the indoor pool, that's poor. Would I stay here again, probably not and I love Hyatt. We paid a premium price during off season and didn't get premium.”

“This is a nice hotel along the main road on the beach side. The room is clean and had a full size fridge, nice shower, balcony with 2 chairs. There is a side ocean view and huge parking lot. Also lots of free street parking next to it. Short walk to the beach. Breakfast was included and was nice.”

“Extremely disappointing stay. Our first night at the Country Inn Hotel in Ocean Beach City, Room 212, was a nightmare. We found a bunch of bed bugs on our pillows. I have attached photos and videos as proof. We immediately contacted reception, but we were told there were no available rooms and nothing could be done. There was no manager on duty, only one receptionist, and we spent over two hours at the lobby waiting for a solution, while my two-year-old baby sleeping on my……

“Had to walk up flights of stairs to get to room. Staff at front desk was hard to find at times. Room wasn’t well cleaned during stay. Asked a room attendant if I could leave the key in room as I was leaving, she said yes. Later asked the front desk and they said I would have to turn in the key at the end of my stay. Had to wait 10 minutes for desk personnel to appear at check out.”
