She gave us advise on where to go, things to do in the area, and coupons for local restaurants. The two rooms that we stayed in were very clean, and the double beds were super comfortable. “There were activities for all ages, especially kids which was a great plus. The resort is a bit secluded and we wish there could have been more options for eating. We placed a room delivery order from one of the on site restaurants which did not arrive for more than 90 minutes. I had to go pick it up and the food was cold by then. They were nice enough to give few add ons for free. The resort was may be 25 % occupied and they could have given us a better room, but they gave us a room which was……

“My husband and I stayed at The Chatwal Lodge (about two hours from NYC) and it’s easily one of the best resorts we’ve been to. It feels incredibly private and secluded—it seemed like there were only ~20 guests on property—so the whole experience was calm and special. We booked the Treehouse, which was awesome: modern, spotless, and beautifully designed with a great vibe. “Room was okay, but overstuffed pillows made me feel like I was fighting them all night.They kept on pushing my neck forward, didn’t mold, and just didn’t stay put. Six pillows in my room-ALL the same thing. Hotel’s gotta have different sizes pillows available in each room. ”
