I aim to be unbiased, but this stay was disappointing, and I hope this helps others avoid a similar experience. To preface, my mother missed the pet fee when booking, but we resolved it on-site, so that’s irrelevant. After a 14hr drive, my mother, wife, and I arrived late with our dog, having informed the host earlier. We were ready to rest, but within five minutes, we were told we couldn’t……

“The ad says “serene”, but they are doing construction right next to the place as well as in the bar under the room. It wasn’t just noisy. The bed shook from the noise. Price was very reasonable, but we weren’t told about the construction. Place was very clean, and the price was right, but it was loud. ”

“As others wrote about the appartement: the stench in hall is bad, although its ok once you are inside the appartement. The light on the first floor doesn't work, so its almost completely dark in the evening, the steps are narrow and steep and hard to handle luggage in, and the neighbourhood is not the best (my taxidrivers rate it from medium to bad). The aircondition doesn't work properly. So If you don't run it on full day and night you can't get the temperature down. You have to wait a……
