Fishing Week at Kismet on Lake Champlain

Kismet was quite nice and was in a very good location for those who want to fish and enjoy Lake Champlain. Close to boat launches, gas, and a convenience store. House is comfortable and has great views of the Lake.

property management and cascade were amazing.home is beautiful and has potential however it needs an overhaul. it has water damage around windows, deck furniture had green mold, dirty windows. shower leaked and upstairs shower didn’t work. vasca was attentive and addressed our concerns. we had a lovely time and enjoyed the views.

Nice family setting

The master bedroom is amazing! Lots of hot water. The door number code was a little dodgy but the staff at vacasa assisted right away. Cleaning staff was nice and gracious to follow up and make sure we got in okay. There are large loud dogs next door but they only bark when their owner gets home from work in the late afternoon. Great cabin getaway!!

Family getaway

The house is very spacious, comfortable, well equipped, beautiful location, great views of the water. Cons: Main floor bathroom need to be updated, the shower needs to be replaced. Dock needs to be fixed, it was submerged & unusable.

Great location

The location was great for our purposes. House was nice other than the main floor bathroom. Was not in good condition. The shower leaked everywhere including into the nearby bedroom. Desperately needs an upgrade in that area. Upstairs bedroom was beautiful!

Great cabin for our purposes -just a couple suggestions

This is a “lived-in” rustic log cabin and was perfect for our group of fishermen. Hanging out in the great room in the evenings was ideal. Just two suggestions -the can opener is missing a gear and the back up manual can opener is bent and bends too easily to function. We also look forward to evenings at the fire pit, but the lawn was uncut 1 to 2 feet tall -a mess and made using the fire pit and waterfront impossible.

Fee Fee Point Kismet

The house had all the basic necessities. If you have a large senior clientele it would behoove you to add some touches. None of the living room furniture was comfortable.There were no chairs in the bedrooms, no bars in the shower ( there was plenty of mold.) There were cob webs everywhere. The grass was tall and wasnt mowed until the afternoon before leaving. The kitchen was nice and the beds were comfortable. no chairs in the bedrooms.

The view is beautiful, and the location very quiet. There is a wonderful deck looking towards the lake. We also were happy with the air conditioners to keep it cool on the inside. We were surprised at the 2 broken chairs on the back deck, and that there was no shower connected in the in the main bathroom just a tub, upstairs.

Spring Fishing on Lake Champlain

Had a great week at “It’s Kismet” on North Hero.. spring fishing on Lake Champlain. The house was in a great location, close to three boat launches, right on the Auberg Passage. “It’s Kismet” was just as described… worked out very well for our four fishermen. We will definitely consider renting this property again in the future.
