“Everything was great with the place. We believe there was an issue with Expedia as when I accepted and confirmed the reservation, I was charged like I normally was but when I attempted to get any information like an actual address and notification from VRBO they had no record of it and this was the day before the reservation was to start. The people at VRBO were great and I spoke with the host and all was taken care of, but much stress was added when we thought we did not have any……

“The resort-type setting faces beautiful Lake George and even on a rainy day is fabulous! The newer guest rooms are spacious and modern, and although there is no a/c or television, free WiFi is provided for phones and laptops. There is a huge restaurant on-site and breakfast is included for guests at no extra charge. My only complaint is that to reach your room you must drive around the perimeter of the property and bounce down a service lane, where there is limited parking, no lighting, and no……

“1. Good: The location of the facility was very good and having a fitness room on sight was nice. Enjoyed the putt putt course, too. 2. Bad: Heater operation was not wonderful. 3. Ugly: a. Very loud leaf blower being operated right behind cabin in the evening and even after dark until we complained b. No warning that a loud emergency siren could go off at night. I understand the need but a heads up would have been nice c. Paid the same as our companions for a cabin but ours was considerably……

“The property we stayed at was cozy for four and we brought a lot more supplies than one would expect. The host accommodated us and did everything to make sure we had a great stay. She made it an amazing vacation and made sure all of our issues were taken care of! Communication was cordial and timely, and the host and her family were super kind to us and gave us several recommendations for local activities. 10/10 experience!”

“The fact that 1 dog was welcome is the primary reason I chose this location. Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending. The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. Noise from the road was not any problem, and good roads nearby was a plus. The owner has a house on the road into the camp, well separated from camp. I liked this, they didn't bother me, and nice to have help nearby. The……

“The innkeepers were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions about things to see in the area. The homemade morning breakfasts were delicious. The inn is "off the beaten track" a bit, which makes it quiet and secluded, but it's not really walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Brandon. Great place for a quiet getaway.”
