Summer vacation

Very nice condo. Well stocked items for use and great pool and location. We really enjoyed our visit..only minor complaint: We were only there several hours and downstairs resident asked us if there were horses in our condo because our walking was very loud 4 adults in condo so she was just rude…also found several large bugs(it is the south). We would recommend and also visit again

We use to own a condo but n Barefoot and always love going back for nowHowever, from the neighbor below, to constant complaining “permanent” residents from up North, quite frankly the area is becoming less enjoyable and relaxing To our dismay the area is becoming more of a permanent retirement community and less of a tourist and vacation destination Good luck with that modelBTW ... stick built condos are not meant for permanent resident living..If you are in the lower floors expect constant and loud noises from people above.... It’s just a fact

We loved the condo so much back in July when we leased it for the week that we decided to lease it again for October. We have come to Myrtle for the last couple years to attend and participate in car shows and have always stayed at a resort. This year we decided to lease a condo through Myrtle Palms Vacation Rentals and we're so glad we did. The condo is absolutely beautiful, location is wonderful, emeneties are great and it just feels like home. Anna and,Rich from Myrtle Palms are fantastic. This was our second time in communication with them and when I speak with Anna its like speaking to a friend. Dirty

Terrible experience. The place was filthy. As soon as we walked in we saw several dead bugs (apparently palmetto bugs...look them up) the bed spread had stains on it, curtains had stains on it. The whole building smelled of chemicals. The transition strip between floors was uplifted, the cupboards had paper towels under dishes that were yellow in colour, crumbs in the drawers and my wife found a long pubic hair in the shower. We are clean people, we only book if we see reviews that the place is clean. The place was filthy enough, that we did not stay there. We got there by 6pm and by 10pm we had to book a rental at the North Beach Resort. The following day i called to complain and received one night refund. In all, my cost me more than double because of the filthiness of this unit. If dirty conditions do not bother you, knock yourself out and book this place. Consider the long pubic hair as free dental floss. As a consumer, i lived up to the rental agreement. I paid in full, on time, yet lost money. This owner did not live up to theirs but kept 90% of the money.

Exactly as pictured!

The unit was spotless! The decor is so beautiful. Barefoot really is gorgeous and so well kept! There’s plenty of room for a family of 4. The only suggestion I have is to replace the couch in the living room. We will definitely be back.

Disappointing Rental

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of this unit. Upon entering a large cockroach ran across the filthy entrance carpet. Another was found in bedroom plus a few dead earwigs and some ants on bedspread. I think more than one roll of toilet paper could have been supplied. In the main bathroom shower disgusting mold was found. Renters paying $185. For cleaning?? Really not clean at all. If photos needed I have them! I sent to rental office with our complaint and never even got a response. Disappointed.

When we went to check in everything was just as it was explained to me on VRBO, the manager was very helpful. The room was just as described it was clean and absolutely beautiful! The community you felt safe in. The people that live there full-time and the people visiting just like us were so nice and kind. Overall I would recommend this place to people.

We were not given the code to enter the condo unit, had to call our agent. The TV in the 2nd Bedroom was not working, had to contact agent 3 times, it was missing a cable. We were never given the FOB we needed to get into the pool. Our tenants had to let us in.

Myrtle Beach

My husband and I rented this condo for 4 nights. On the second day, a friend and his 21-month old son joined us. It was an ideal setting for us! We enjoyed the condo, the Barefoot Landing pier and shops and the north Myrtle area. We would definitely go back and hope to stay a little longer!

124 Bridgewater review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was nice. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. 2 of the 3 TVs stopped working on the 2nd day while we were watching them. I then noticed a note on the fridge that says if you don't know how to use a remote and the tv stops working you can have someone fix it for 30 dollars (that tells me it's a reoccurring issue that should be addressed.)
