My husband and I needed a place to stay for a few days with our little pups in tow. This cabin was super convenient to the town of North Pole and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. This host has a few places to stay at, and we’ve enjoyed each one over the last couple of visits!
Loved the area! We had neighbors near by, but still felt very private. Not far from shopping or traveling to near by areas.
The place was clean, stocked with cookwear, extra sheets, etc! The host was available if need be. Great Place!
This is a beautiful lil cabin nestled among the trees. Good location not far from North Pole and just a quick little drive to Fairbanks. Our main goal was to chase the Northern Lights but we found on one spectacular night all we had to do was walk outside our door …. It was the topper for our trip. Highly recommend this place!
Caribou Cottage was a wonderful stay and perfectly located for all adventures. We were able to see the Northern lights right outside our cabin! Jamie had everything we needed in the cabin. We definitely recommend staying at Caribou Cottage.

I really enjoyed the stay at Jamie’s cabin. It was clean, smelled great and had everything we needed plus some. Everything was thought of. I especially loved the St. Nickerdoodle coffee. It was awesome. The best part… we saw the Northern Lights from the cabin on our first night there. I HIGHLY recommend!

Pleasant Surprise
My first impression was not the best because the location was not what I expected. However, as soon as we entered the cabin, my misgivings evaporated. It was spacious and lovely. The full size kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room had plenty of space to unpack and hang our clothes. The washer and dryer were a huge plus! Overall, I would definitely book this cabin again.
This cabin was exactly as described and met all expectations. It was in a secluded area where you would think you were miles away from everywhere, yet right close to town. It was clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable, the linens were good quality, the kitchen was fully stocked, and there was plenty of space for everything. The TV was connected to cable and the wifi worked perfectly. This made our first time visit to Alaska wonderful. As stated in the description, the only bathroom is on the main floor and the bedroom is upstairs so if you have trouble with stairs or like having a bathroom close to your bed, you could make the futon out into a bed and sleep downstairs as there was linens, pillows and blankets to convert it into a bed.
The cabin was well equipped for our one night stay.. cozy and warm.. came from Nebraska to visit with my son and we both slept comfortably...was easy to find with instructions from host.. would definitely stay again
Really enjoyed our stay at Caribou Cabin! We’ve stayed at the adjacent property in the past and Jamie is a great host. Cabin is very comfortable, well-stocked and ready, and super convenient to the bases, as well as all the activities in North Pole-Fairbanks and beyond.
We had a wonderful week in Fairbanks and could not have been happier with this little cabin! Very, very clean and had everything we needed! My wife has already decided this will be our go-to location for future visits to see our daughter. Thank you Jamie for a great place to stay!
I stayed at this beautiful cabin in North Pole Alaska for a few days in July. Went to Chena Lake every day to go kayaking with my dogs. We came back every night tired but relaxed. The cabin is so comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back soon.
