“Hotel Lincoln is very dated and overpriced. It is a joke that they charge you a destination fee on top of the already expensive prices. The carpets in the rooms are very old and nasty. ”

“Bathroom looked dingy and found hair on towels. Sheets had strong bleach smell. Never received the bar tickets or dinner coupons. Keys didn’t work all the time. Had to msg to ask for the provided water bottles. One small ice machine on first floor. Doors creaked. Positive note.. close to Wrigley. Cute lobby decor.”

“It was a great spot to be, we loved it! The hosts were super responsive and helped resolve all our questions. Would absolutely stay there again if needed :) ”

“Gina and staff were warm and friendly. When our toilet clogged, we got upgraded. When we needed a delayed checkout, they accommodated. We had a fire for a cold night and got delicious eggs and crispy bacon for breakfast. Highly recommend for those lovers of all things Italian. ”

“Great place, nice quiet street. Street parking is free, which was great since we had a truck that wouldn’t fit in the garage. My only criticism is the comfort of the furniture. Beds are extremely soft - too much so for our taste. Others may find that to be a plus. Also, the living room furniture is attractive, but not very comfortable. But the kitchen chairs are more comfortable and can be easily mobed into the living room. ”

“Clean & spacious apartment. Comfortable beds and all you need in kitchen. Host has excellent communication. Neighborhood is nice and there’s a cute restaurant 3 blocks away. Only downside was the creaky floors and thin walls. Ear plugs are provided which was helpful at night. Overall, we were comfortable here. ”

“Directions on accessing the unit were difficult to follow. The heat was not working well and it was a very cold week in Chicago so it was uncomfortable. Someone was in the unit without advance notice or our permission while we were out which was a security concern and not acceptable. ”

“Location: The area was in a safe and cute looking neighborhood. The door to the apt building locked so it gave a secondary sense of safety. The unit was next to a Starbucks so that was great for morning coffees. It was also walkable to all bars and stores in the gayborhood. It is a little further out for tourist things like the bean or zoo etc but one Uber ride into the city (25 mins) and you could do it all in a day. Host: Super easy to get in contact with.
