「Was clearly an old premier inn, they had started to modernize, will be great when finished. Booked due to the Wacky Warehouse, however it was closed about 2 hours earlier than advertised which left a sad child but the pudding in the pub sorted that out.」

「Our second stay - returning because we love the uniqueness of the French Partridge so much. The staff are amazing and the food is excellent. Super breakfast, lunch and dinners - you won't ever go hungry as the portion sizes are really generous and lovely fresh produce and a really good menu choice. The bar area has a lovely ambiance and we slept so well - the mattress and pillows were so comfy. Plenty of car parking. There are no lifts so make sure you get one of the bedrooms on the first floor...

「This was a beautiful property. Unfortunately we arrived very late and didn’t get to spend any daylight hours enjoying to grounds so it was a bit of a waste to us. The restaurant was closed which we were not aware of when we booked. Lovely place if you are planning to use the grounds and enjoy the property .」

「We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.」

「Great room away from the pub itself. The accommodation was clean, and quiet in the evening. The pub shuts no later than 10. Lovely views of the canal. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance along the tow path, including a micro brewery. The White Hart sells amazing Indian food! We shared a pizza for lunch in the Narrowboat which was lovely. Staff helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly! Ubers are available if you want a trip out. They seem to be a bit more reasonable than the...
