“Truly, this property is stunning. I can't imagine it is possible to have a room with a bigger balcony or better view anywhere else on St. Croix. For privacy, The Waves gets an A++ and the onsite restaurant, AMA, is spectacular. That being said, after our initial awe, we did run into some frustrations. Neither the restaurant nor the bar on property are open daily. (Thankfully the nearby Landing Bar and Off the Wall serve great food!) There is really no place to hangout onsite other than your……

“The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. You do need an all wheel drive vehicle and should definitely arrive while it is still light out. The WiFi was dependable.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at these cottages! The cottages are very comfortable - we especially enjoyed how we had such easy access to the beach and restaurant yet still felt like you were away from hustle and bustle at the same time. We ended up having to extend our stay due to winter weather at home and Win was able to accommodate us last minute in another unit, which was equally as comfortable and it was so appreciated by us not have to stress about finding new lodging after our flights……

“The place was perfect for us with walking distance to the dive center, beach, and to the Landing restaurant. It was small and quaint with friendly cats and peacocks just roaming the property! We enjoyed our stay and will be back again! ”

“Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,……

“What an awesome week we had at St. Croix. Seaview Estate was amazing! Not only was the inside beautiful, the outside offered beautiful views. I recommend watching the video of the house, it's a perfect representation and made us excited to see it in real life. The kitchen was probably one of the most stocked places we have ever stayed at. There were plenty of beach towels, no need to bring your own. Every room was gorgeous. The pool, hot tub, grill and deck were used all week. Loved the……

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

It was easy to find the two larger towns on the island and we went to Buck Island. The house could use a little TLC but we also understand it’s location receives a lot of weather, which we loved. We all definitely wish to return in the future!”
