Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton

10/10 Excellent

"Check in was just okay, but the initial welcome from the front desk not there. We were very happy with everything about our 5th floor room! Had dinner and drinks in the bar where the food and service was excellant. Fine dining restaurant only open on weekends though. The architecture of the building is amazing and the history of the rail station is all around. Highly recommend a stay here at Lackawanna Station if you are traveling near the Scranton area."

"Unfortunately I cannot give a good review. As soon as we checked in we had a bunch of issues. The AC did not work, the fire alarm went off twice in our room (we did not cook anything or have any smoke-related activity in the room), the TVs did not work, there was dried blood on the bedsheets, the bathtub was dirty and chipped, and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Upon finally being switched to another room, the ACs and TVs did not work either. When leaving the resort the second night there was a leak in the main lobby by the entrance. The elevators were also out of service. Split Rock needs a serious makeover and we will not be returning."

"Everything was clean and well maintained. I would have liked for there to be other activities on site beside gambling. It would have been nice to have an activities person at certain hours or certain days to engage the guest in simple activities such a bingo, pool volley ball or scavenger hunts to make it less of a gambling experience for those of us who do not wish to gambel night and day."
