“My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room……

Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten, äußerst komfortabel und für isländische Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich luxuriös ausgestattet – mit viel Stauraum, hochwertigen Möbeln und einer hervorragend ausgestatteten Küche.Der Blick durch die große Glasfront über Akureyri ist tagsüber wie nachts beeindruckend. “It’s a beautiful house in a new neighborhood. The location was beautiful, right on the fjord, only 10 minutes from downtown Akureyri. We cooked one night, pretty well stocked kitchen, could use a few potholders. We couldn’t figure out the cold plunge, but the hot tub and sauna were great. Views from the hot tub are amazing. Our only complaint was there were a lot of flies, no screens on windows, and it’s prime fly season apparently. No kidding, we killed more than 100 in 2 days. A fly……

“La maison est très ancienne ce qui n'est pas un problème mais elle est très sale et en travaux : carrelage, plinthes et seuils de porte manquants, espace extérieur en désordre avec des encombrants, extincteur révisé en 2016. Absence totale de ménage entre les locataires : cheveux partout (tiroirs de cuisine, de salle de bain, au sol...) luminons de poussière dans toutes les pièces et sous tous les lits, vaisselle sale et maniques dégoûtantes, boutons de plaque de cuisson dégoûtants. Absence……
