"Very old hotel with rooms that were incredibly small and did not match the expectations we had after seeing the pictures. Upon check-in, we weren't given a wifi passcode or informed that breakfast was included with our room. Checkout was at 11am, and by 11:05am, the receptionist was knocking vigorously on our door, rudely telling us we had to leave immediately. For the record, everything was already packed, we just needed to close our suitcase. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel"

Villa e Palazzo Aminta Hotel Beauty and SPA

"Staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful but there are one or two things that I would expect in a five star hotel namely - no mirror in the bedroom, no heating, the room was very chilly, the safe is far too small and the water wasn’t very hot. Nothing major was wrong but just a few niggles that shouldn’t have to be brought to the staff’s attention."

"Breakfast Menu could be a lot better, as there was no choice for a Hot Breakfast, other than very runny scrambled eggs, which were un-eatable, so in the end I had to go out to a Restaurant for Breakfast. Also very disappointing that the Hotel did not have Tea and Coffee facilities in the room. The Hotel itself was lovely and The Lake View from our Rooms, was absolutely Stunning. Stresa and the surrounding Areas were very Beautiful and we will be returning again."
