"There was no closet just 3 hangers on a coat rack on the wall. There were chip crumbs on the platform that the mattress was on. Hair in the bathroom floor and on the tub that WASN'T from us. Only 1 set of bath towels. Even though we didn't use the shower, it would have been nice to have two sets of towels. We didn't even use the shower. There was something "brown" on the wall between the sink and the bedroom. It could have been chocolate or it could have been.......... The whole place echoed. You could hear the baby crying down the hallway at 530 am. We were not impressed at all."

"The AmericInn was beautiful and comforting for us weary travelers! We arrived so late in the night and were warmly welcomed by the staff! Our room was lovely and comfortable in every way. The morning breakfast and coffee bar had everything we needed to feel nourished for the journey ahead of us. I have never met a more kind and helpful staff, and I most highly recommend this wonderful hotel!!!"

"Jeanette’s cottage was the perfect spot for a weekend stay on the Eagle River Chain. It’s cozy, but comfortably fit four people without ever feeling cramped. Everything listed was accurate. Cell service is limited in this part of Eagle River, but the Wi-Fi worked great and easily met our needs. The kitchen and living area also felt surprisingly spacious for the size of the cottage.The space has a nostalgic, classic “up north” feel that reminded me of visiting Eagle River as a kid in the best way. The back deck is a great spot to hangout, tucked into the woods with beautiful, peaceful views of Otter Lake.Jeanette truly goes above and beyond as a host, consistently making sure both our stay and future guests’ stays are top-notch. During our visit, she even installed a brand-new Sealy mattress in the queen bedroom based on prior feedback, which speaks volumes about how much she cares. She also surprised us with warm sugar cookies fresh out of the oven. It's these thoughtful touches which really set this place apart.Would absolutely stay here again."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dawson's Den gave us the cozy, comfy retreat in the Northwoods we were in need of. The cabin was impeccably clean and had a beautiful cedar aroma immediately upon walking in. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals throughout our stay! The bedrooms were equally as comfy and inviting for a warm winter-night's rest. The loft provided a quaint sitting area perfect for some chill conversations. The hot tub provided us a perfect way to end the day after being on the slopes! We spent a night around a fire while sitting on a bench of snow. Dawson's Den did not disappoint one bit!"
