Close to everything, without the high price tag!

This conveniently located and well-appointed unit is located in our Main Lodge. It can sleep up to 8. Base rate is for 8 people, but we discount $30 per person per night, so if you are just a couple or single, your nightly rate is $130!

Nestled in the Green Mountains in Northfield, Vermont, 5 minutes from Norwich University, The Woods Lodge is an historic former summer camp, that has been reinvented to cater to today's travel and hospitality needs, with a well-appointed Main Lodge with dining and meeting spaces and guest rooms, rustic-yet-comfortable accommodations in bunkhouses, cabins and housekeeping cottages, and camping areas. The Woods Lodge is in a natural setting, off the beaten path, that will allow you to get away from the rest of the world, and let you concentrate on what you need to accomplish, whether that is to be productive, or... just the opposite.

The Woods is only 3 hours from Boston, Montreal, Hartford or Albany and 5 minutes off the interstate, yet it is worlds away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A short drive to many of Central Vermont's best attractions, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski areas, Ben and Jerry's and Cabot Creamery, brewery tours, recreational activities and dining establishments, this secluded hideaway is just seconds from the VAST snowmobile trail system and the Paine Mountain biking center and trails, and has its own 36-acres of meadows, hiking and snowshoeing trails, a brook with swimming holes and a waterfall, a tree house, outdoor amphitheater and stone-lined labyrinth path for plenty of year-round outdoor enjoyment and relaxation.
