The only negative was the fact that the outside of the batch and the property needed a little TLC. Some paint on the deck and some lawn/garden maintenance would have made this review a full 10 out of 10! Overall we loved our stay and loved the old school quaintness of this Bach. Good value for money and would love to rent again. ”

“My husband and I enjoyed our one month stay. The property was very well stocked, extremely clean and comfortable. Our hosts were quick to respond with any questions we had and to let them know if we needed anything. We were a pleasurable 10 minute beach walk to downtown Paihia, the Treaty Grounds, and a five minute drive to the golf course. The views were amazing! We will look forward to returning as this property is a gem in every respect! ”

“We loved staying in Opua. It is quieter, low-key area, but 7 minutes away, by car, from Paihia. The windows and views are incredible! There is a little fish and chips shop that is really good a couple steps away. One thing of note: The ferry starts ramping up at 5:30 am, and shuts down at 10 p.m. While it is totally entertaining during the day, our friends staying in the second bedroom would hear it, as well as get a spotlight in the window. That said, the place was so good, it still gets a 10……
