「The first thing we noticed was how friendly and welcoming the hotel employees were. Honestly, that was a very nice surprise. Our room and bathroom were both very clean and spacious. There was a definite modern feel to the room that we were not used to, but still mostly met our needs. We did wish there were a couple of comfy chairs for lounging about in the room. 「During our stay, the elevator was completely out of service, and we had to climb the stairs many times. In the breakfast room, one of the younger waiters had a very bad attitude and was extremely slow, except for one staff member who was fine. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here—you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a train all night.」

「Property was very clean and well maintained. Rooms were decorated nicely. Although it was a pet friendly hotel there were no signs of pet hair or odors. Great location and easy access to the beach. The only thing I would recommend is taking a sleep mask since there are bright lights outside of the windows and no curtains to close.」

The best part was of course the view and location right on the beach. We loved it so much we decided to change our flights home so we could stay one more night! 「The lobby, food area, bar, along with the hallways and room were exceptionally clean and well maintained ! The staff was courteous and responsive to any questions or needs. It had been awhile since our stay at BW but we will certainly return in the near future. We have family and upcoming events in Leland and we will be recommending BW to our families and friends attending and visiting. The prices were also very competitive and very reasonable! We enjoyed the stay very much !」

「No cleaning service, you have to replace your own towels and toilet paper. Will downgrade your room without notifying you prior to your arrival. If you book on Expedia they will likely double charge you for the room, keep an eye on your credit card and be wary they don’t have staff that can process refunds readily available. Shower leaks into the toilet. Lockboxes don’t work. Staff are friendly especially the bartender.」
