"This is a great hotel with spacious rooms, plenty of parking, and an amazing staff. The breakfast is tasty, and the bar is a nice addition. While it is a bit far from downtown Chicago, it remains a convenient option if you plan to visit both Illinois and Indiana. The only downside is the lack of a full-service restaurant, as dining options are currently limited to cold sandwiches."

"Hotel was great. Rooms are big and clean. My only complaint; during my stay there was only one restaurant open and it was nothing special."

"Nice older hotel. Convenient to the Dunes. The pool is small and old. We did not use it. Breakfast was good. Same as most buffets. Free parking. The area had a storm a month ago and there's still cleaning to do. The restaurant next to the hotel, Unos, was awful. Understaffed and our pizza was over baked and had 2 pieces of pepperoni on it. There's no where else to walk to eat."

"Our room at the Furness Mansion was spotlessly clean, tricked out with everything we could imagine needing for small meals (fridge, coffee pot, coffee, a few plates/bowls/utensils), a bidet!, well-appointed bathroom and shower, and comfy beds and linens. We loved being close to the Dunes National Park. A lovely place to stay for an evening or two."
