“About 10-20 minutes walking distance to restaurants and Fløibanen and Bryggen. Very close to Nordnes park where you might catch the aurora. A bit drafty in the apartment but lots of blankets and good heaters. If you plan to cook, there isn’t much there in the way of spices or cooking pans, but you can get by if you are inventive. Clean. Appliances worked well. I didn’t use the bus but I think there is a shop close by. The projection tv screen was too fuzzy to make use of and very difficult to……

“The apartment and its terrace has fantastic views of the fjord, but since it is located in the basement, it is badly ventilated and has a particular smell. The fireplace is definitely a plus (there is also enough firewood provided by the host), but unfortunately you can’t open a window in the living room to make sure that there is enough oxygen (so you have to open the front door).The bathroom has been renovated quite recently, so it is modern and clean. “The host was very responsive to any and all questions I had. The apartment was cold when I first arrived and took a while for the heaters to bring it up to a comfortable cozy temperature, but once there quite comfortable. The train and bus stations are very close by for my arrival and departure from Bergen. I walked everywhere from the apartment and there were shops nearby to get some supplies for meals. It is a very quiet location and I would definitely stay here again. it is the top floor so……
